June 6, 2013

These 2 patterns are oldies but goodies!  The Art Caddy has been popular for a long time and now is your chance to snatch it up for only $5!  This project creates a useful and adorable caddy for all your art supplies.  It was originally designed for my kids but now lots of sewers use for their own craft organization!  The art caddy is a simple sewing project but give yourself some time to make it since it has lots of pockets and layers to get this nice and sturdy shape!

The On the Go Organizer has long been one of my favorites for how easy and fun it is to make.  I find it to be the great project for beginners since the construction is simple but the result is so nice!  It would be a great pattern to help get those kids and teens sewing for the first time!  It is also is fun for more advanced sewers since you can show off some fun design skills with all sorts of fabric combinations and applique.

This pattern includes not only the organizer but also directions to make a colored pencil organizer.  Aspiring artists will love this since they can take their matierials to sketch with them on the go!
