Napkins! a Video Tutorial

March 26, 2015

Ever since I made the Quick and Cool Grocery tote video a few month ago, I have been hoping to create another one.  My wonderful and talented helper, Christian Heilman, made the first video for me.  With a little of his guidance over the phone and email, I managed to create another one over the last week.

Making this was a new challenge for me.  I recorded the introduction about 25 times and I still feel like I look strange and talk unnaturally.  But, after the intro is over, the rest of the video went well.   I do think its a great way to communicate with new sewers and once I get the hang of it, it might even be a little easier than writing a tutorial on the website.  PLUS- its a good reason to clean up my sewing room!

Please head over and watch my video.  Also, share it on social media to spread the cloth napkin love.  This is a super easy and fun way to make really nice cloth napkins.  Down with paper napkins!  Up with cute cloth napkins to make your table pretty!
