I have a handful of blogs that I like to check every few days.  My favorite and longest lasting is WeeWonderfuls by the talented Hillary Lang.  Her dolls are "wonderful"  and I have made most of them.  I wanted to make my own doll and this is what I came up with.  I love her so much!  I realize she looks A LOT like a weewonderfuls doll.  She also has the influence of HopSkipJump.  She is australian and makes awesome dolls too.  In fact she just came out with the a pattern to make her dolls which looks so nice.  Last, I love the scandanavian dolls by Ravenhill.  This is where Violet's sweet face came from.  Her fabric is Wildwood collection that I bought from Sewlovefabrics.

I listed her in the shop for a few days and then decided just to let the girls have her.  They love her so much- especially her skirt.  Anne's middle name is Violet so she is especially attached!  She is easy and fun to make though so maybe I will make some more in time for the holidays.
