Tire Swinging is Super Cool

June 8, 2010

Travis made this tire swing for Elsie's Birthday 2 weeks ago.  It has been a non stop hit.  The big girl get sick on it so she is happy to swing the other two.  The grass is already worn underneath it.  I researched so many swings and swing sets and then we went to a neighbors house who had a simple tire swing.  Travis had the idea to make one that they could all sit on together so we hung it horizontal instead of vertical like the neighbor.  About $60 bucks later this is what we have.  Awesome!

My sister in law Jennie is a really good photographer.  She is always taking out the camera during right before dusk and tells me the lightening is beautiful.  I used her advice here and the nice lens she got for me.  This one of Cal is great thanks to her!
