The boy gets in on the action

September 25, 2010

This boy is always fighting to get in on the action.  When you have 3 kids together, one is being left out and 95% of the time it's him.  I say, "Come on. just let him play."  and they "Mom, this is a girl game and he doesn't know how to play!"  WEll sewing is no longer a girl game here at our house.  The boy finally made his way in on all the action!

These pants are another dmkeasywear pattern.  I made them for Elsie Marley's KCWC.  Loved making pants!!  So much more fun than I thought.

I had to use a pair of my pants that were never quite long enough.  Corduroy that you find at JoAnn is so light!  I took the pockets off my pants and used them instead of the pattern pockets.

I also just zig zagged the pants hem to give them a more rough "boy" edge.

Will be making more of these soon!
