Getting in the Mood… Western PA Style

October 12, 2010

I grew up in a lovely suburb of Atlanta called Dunwoody.  To see colored Christmas lights was a reason to be excited since almost everyone decorated with elegant candles in their windows and a spotlight on the front door to show off their tasteful wreath.  I am sure similar neighborhoods exist here close to Pittsburgh, but this post is dedicated to letting loose and letting your gaudy flag fly!  Here is what we saw yesterday on our drive to get pumpkins (and we didn't go far so this is only the tip of the ice burg).

So, does your neighborhood compare?  I honestly love people in Western PA doing their thing and getting excited about holidays.  Where do they even get all this stuff?  Just wait until I make a post about the Christmas displays!  Awesome!
