Okay, I finally going to write about my book on the blog here.  I know I should have told you more earlier but now that I have actual copies of the book here in my sewing room, I am ready to start talking about it!  This was a long and hard and wonderful process and  am so happy with the final outcome.  It is a really great experience to work on one topic for a long time and then see it all come together.  C & T publishing did a great job making all my writing and photo and information so pretty and well organized.

The first half of the book is all about the fundamentals of starting your own craft business.  The topics include working on your style, essential equipment, fabric buying, pricing, packaging, selling online, photo taking, and preparing for a craft show.  It is really a collaborative effort since i interviewed 4 different successful sewing business ladies and also used quotes and photos from lots of other sewers.

The second half of the book includes 16 COPYRIGHT FREE projects that also includes a bunch of practical tips on pack aging, pricing and promoting.  Here a few sneak peeks…
