Eggs & Forsythia

March 19, 2010

I admit that I feel a little snooty about forsythia.  It looks so weedy every month except for April.  But every april I am wishing that I bought that forsythia when I had the chance.  I took some cuttings from a neighbor and forced the blooms inside.  I am hoping they will root and finally I will have my forsythia looking colorful next April!

These are some eggs that I bought at an estate sale last june.  I wonder at the time and effort someone put into creating these.  So many little pieces and all that sticky glue!  I am the beneficiary now though and I appreciate all that work of some crafty lady out there.  They are sitting under my forsythia.  Hopefully I'll dig out my easter baskets and give them a little home soon enough!
